Elvis Presley

 Elvis Aaron Presley, also known simply as Elvis, was an American singer, musician, and actor. He is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" and is widely considered one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century. Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935, and grew up in poverty. Despite this, he showed an early interest in music and began singing in church and local events. In 1953, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee, and began working as a truck driver while also performing on the side. In 1954, Presley recorded a demo at Sun Studios, owned by Sam Phillips. Phillips was impressed by Presley's unique blend of country, R&B, and gospel music, and soon signed him to a recording contract. In 1955, Presley released his first single, "That's All Right," which quickly climbed the charts and established him as a rising star in the music industry.
